Hello I am new to this thread, new to home ownership & would really appreciate ANY good help and advice. I have an old Trane 800 heat pump unit and electric furnace from 1978 in my home. The unit runs ok but I want to replace to get my tax $$$. The only problems I have had is a leak in the furnace that would soak the filter.
