Emotions and perceptions of the “dad in the ad” were proposed to mediate effects on the persuasiveness of the advertisement. ComSHER is now one of only a handful of AEJMC divisions with a research paper competition that routinely receives more than 100 submissions each year. In fact, in the last three years our division has received the most research paper submissions of all divisions twice (in 2015 and 2013) and tied for the second most submissions with the …
