Haven't taken Step 2 yet, but for rotations so far I'd say it's been very helpful. There's many ways to skin a cat, but my general workflow is: OME (not that many videos) --> unlock Anki cards (Anking deck) --> BnB videos and Amboss practice questions + make cards off incorrects. I finished almost all of the flashcards in the AnKing Overhaul deck, except for maybe 1000-2000 cards that I decided were not relevant or otherwise duplicated. I used other sources: Boards and Beyond, Pathoma, Sketchy, Uworld Step 1 Qbank, and about 500 questions of AMBOSS towards the end. I ended up with Step 1 score of 264. Grade-wise I've generally been an average student in my class until Step 1. I used Boards and Beyond almost entirely instead of FA. Then spent about 2.5 hours going through two lecture hours to make more cards (our in house deck is bad and there isn't strong overlap with boards and beyond).IMO I think Boards and Beyond is best served by watching what you need to hear that you didn't grasp in your lecture, or to hear what topics your lecture missed on a certain subject. I think Zanki/Bros covers most of what's in those videos in some way or another, and making Anki out of them is not the best use of your timeAnking's step 2 deck relies too heavily on memorising random cards with no prior review of the subject imo (unlike Anking's Step1 deck which was really great and organised by videos).
