Reply replyThere's a massive difference in accuracy though. In those gear setups the elite void has a maximum accuracy roll of 36,660 but in crystal the max roll is 56,303. So as an example this means the crystal armor has a 28.78% dps increase on Jad over the elite void. For a main it is better to not corrupt the bowfa. It takes 130 hours of constantly firing a bowfa to use up all the charges 2k crystal shards would have given. If you ever plan on selling the bowfa later, then corrupting is a waste of gp. You will have enough gp for a TBow before the 130 hours are up.

The only other competitor in your situation is your standard RCB/Crystal Bow/MSB (which are all roughly the same power) and then the Tbow. There's just nothing in between now that the blowpipe has been pushed to a more niche role. TLDR: Corrupt your bowfa and you can start using it but keep working on full crystal because it’s very much worth it. Yeah I still need dwh so I guess since the armour isn't useful there anyway, makes sense. I'll need to grind maybe 400 shards first thieving to corrupt though.
Crystal in general is a bit of a commitment for mains. Since it costs crystal shards to make the armour / weapon if you need to sell you will lose out on that creation cost. It can add up to quite a few mil. This goes quite literally 20x for corrupting the bowfa.BOWFA is only good with crystal armour as others have said. Also a side-note I've done Muspah with both T Bow and BOWFA; I liked the 4-tick aspect of BOWFA as it's easier to time avoiding the attacks while kiting (for me at least!). ...
