Aug 3, 2020 · Having issues with my 2013 running hot and almost overheating. Installed new water pump, thermostate, new antifeeze and cooling fan was replaced 6 months ago. I live in Phoenix AZ so temps get HOT. I pureged all the air out of system after new components and car still runs around 212 deg. up to 235 deg this past weekend. This will force the air out of the system. Run the car with the recovery tank cap off and watch the level. You may see a few more bubbles come up. Shut it down, put in enough coolant to put it at the hot/full level, cap it and let it cool off. Check the level again in the morning.
