Reports are coming in that the first waves of white bass are beginning to move up the Sabine River from Toledo Bend Lake on their annual spawning run. White bass are cold-tolerant fish that spawn when water temperature is between 50-55 degrees. You can catch one fish right after another when you locate a school of them.Water stained; 64 degrees; 0.38 feet above pool. Crappie are good in 15-20 feet of water on brush piles or downed timber on minnows or jigs. Catfish are good in 2-6 feet of water on cut bait or worms.
