Phantom / Ghost touches on radio touch screen. My 2015 Sierra w/ 8" touchscreen has started browsing radio stations on its own. Every once in a while when a radio station is on I see the browse button flashing red on its own. Eventually a list of stations comes up and the radio will select one . So on mine you would have it on radio, and all the other screens would show up on it. I took it they updated it and all is good now. Not a whole lot of tricks, maybe try pulling the fuse and resetting it. If the laser is bad you pretty much need a new player. There are some tricks for cds that get stuck and other mechanical things like that, but I don't know of any for the laser itself besides cleaning. I tested the fuse located under the hood as well as the fuse on the back of my radio. both tested good. I tested for power on the connector; nothing.The purple and white DIM CTRL (with no "N") looks like it goes to indicator LEDs for things like the transfer case modes, etc. That also appears to be working fine. The yellow LED DIM looks like it goes to a few different switches and displays, but as far as I can tell, the only ones affected are the DIC display and the radio LED display.Gauge cluster and radio won't work. On the 03-07 trucks it is harder to do than the 99-02 but is possible. There are guys willing to fix it but I think they charge pretty hard. The bulbs could be out and this is the only fix for that.
