Hcg levels 7 weeks
I just got my HCG test levels back. I had a blood test yesterday at 7 weeks 4 days and the result was 156,623.32 mIU. When doing a basic search on the internet, they give such a wide range for this time frame, I'm having a hard time understanding what is normal. Based on some charts, for this time it's high, on others, it's normal.Slight dip in HCG at week 7. My HCG levels went from 28116 (at 6 wks and 4 days) to 27851 three days later (7 wks). My OB told me to prepare for a miscarriage, which is incredibly upsetting. I feel so confused. Some sources say your HCG levels peak around 7-10 weeks (including "What to Expect..."), others say 8-12 weeks.800 at presumed 5 weeks doesn't sound bad. You could be a few days behind that, depending when you ovulated (and even if you took ovulation tests, unless you did IUI or IVF, there's still a window for when ovulation can happen after a positive result, like 2 ish days).
