Today, I noticed that the seal around the base of the back window is severely dry-rotten and cracked up. I am suspecting that it could be letting water or moisture in, which may have caused the latch actuator to fail.1) press power close button the tailgate. 2) tailgate goes almost all the way down but won’t latch at the end. 3) I need to press it hard down or re open and close.
