The 332-acre park encompasses 220 acres of badlands – fragile, but ruggedly spectacular geologic formations adjacent to the 17,290-acre Smoky Valley Ranch. Both properties are owned by The Nature Conservancy. We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us. Scott State Park is a real gem. There is a beautiful, 100 acre fishing lake surrounded by remarkable cliffs within the 1,020 acre park. Lots of campground space for both primitive and utility camping. The Campground Host was very helpful explaining the self pay system and advised us to pay one night at a time as there was no refund available.-Lake Scott State Park. Lake Scott, which is located just a few miles south of Little Jerusalem, is an oasis amongst the plains.
