I have a 2005 Rubicon and at high RPM's, about redline, it throws the Jeep into limp mode and throws the check engine light. It has happened 3 times since I have owned it. It only occurs if you have to drive it aggressively such as getting out into traffic and such. It has been fixed twice out warranty.1- Unbolt the engine oil dip stick tube, so you can push it back while lifting the cover. 2- Unbolt and pull out the transmission oil dip stick tube. Without doing so, I don't see a way to lift the cover.
