Anyone have any experiences/opinions on the John Deere 5500, 5510, 5520 and 5525 utility tractors? All are very similar 75 PTO hp tractors. 9F/3R transmission - rugged, trouble free? I bought it used in 2005 with less than 800 hours and the clutch went out. I took it to the John Deere dealer in Harrisonville, Mo and the Service Manager told me that there was a deficit part and John Deere would probably stand behind it even through it was out of warranty.
