From what I have read and experienced first hand, I do not believe that the 900 has more or worse stator issues than other bikes. I think the biggest issue is that most folks don't realize that the stator is only rated for 70 watts of additional load above stock.2. Very strong vibration and grinding when exceeding 120km/hr from the engine causing the handle to rattle and causing body aches. Unable to see the rear mirror due to strong vibration. 3. Also has racing pipes on it right now, but they are getting taken off and the fishtail being put back on due to the cops and the decibel ...Real backfiring can do some serious damage and is generally a timing issue, running way too rich, or both.
