It turns my TV and my Yamaha AV unit on and off with a single click .. only paired it initially and it has held up since then. But, strange, the volume control only works from within 4 or 5 feet of the TV. TIVO support told me that the remote receiver on the TCL tv is not very sensitive and so the tivo remote does not work well with this tv.
