I called corvette garage but they didn't know the threads in the **** (MWG threaded shaft is 9/16-18) I wish someone made this **** to fit the stock shaft... This MGW knob is designed with a 9/16-18 threaded insert. This means you can only use this knob with a shifter that has a 9/16-18 threaded shaft or if you are using this knob on a MGW shifter you will need to buy the 9/16-18 shaft. Like, the top of the knob would swing .75 of an inch in either direction (1.5~ of play total) once in gear. I had the MGW shifter on my 2017 Z06...and installed one on my ZR1... In researching various shifters/knobs I came across the MGW. Every review was positive so I decided to bite the bullet and order one. Although there is a hurst shifter that fits the C6, it doesn't include a lower box like the MGW.
