My Life as a Teenage Robot is a 2002 American animated television series and the seventeenth major Nicktoon (being so originally released internationally), produced by Frederator Studios for Nickelodeon and distributed by Nelvana Limited outside of the United States. The series follows the adventures of a robot designed as a teenage girl, XJ-9 …Nickelodeon was named after old-timey theatres called Nickelodeons. These theatres costed 5 cents (a nickel) to enter. These logos were all based on the iconic idents for which Nickelodeon was known throughout most of the 1980s. Said idents were produced by Fred/Alan Inc, who were known for sister channel MTV's idents at the time.
