Lwout65 Discussion starter. 6 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Apr 1, 2014 (Edited) I recently sent my PTR 91 F in for repair "cracked trunnion" and received a call from Chris today he told me they replace the barrel as well as the trunnion and he gave me the option of having the same type 18" bull barrel or the 18" GI and i went for the GI type barrel.The quickest solution is to replace the PTR bolt head with an OEM bolt head. Used FMP Bolt Head Complete ---> HK G3 Bolt Head Please don't take me wrong, the PTR-91 is a solid rifle and the employees at PTR-IND are great people, my experience with them has been very positive. The few issues that might be found in a PTR rifle can be resolved. NDS
