I started over to do a faith build after running a dex melee build. I find doing this forces me to learn how to use incants with a modification in play style. Lightning spear is fast. flame sling and the black flame version to be fast enough if you’re good. Catch flame is very fast and does good damage.But I just feel like it’s not viable at all in Elden Ring. The damage reduction on quality affinity is too high to make the scaling worth it (unless you level up a ton and get like 60 in both dex and strength). I’ve found that pure dex with keen or pure strength with Heavy almost always outperforms quality in This game.Pure dex, like pure strength, is not the way to go anymore like in other souls games.
