You could use a pair of much smaller turbos and reach your goals. One of my customers went a 6.89 at 3150 lbs with a pair of 80's on a 509 BBC with BB2 xtra heads. If you need the room you could go with the 76's and run really fast. The tuneup is the most important part of any turbo combo.
